do them differently”. Here at Mc Laren Sound Systems (MLSS) we try to do
both, and if it is impossible we either do them better or “way”
different by all means.
Anyone related to the 12 volt (car audio) industry, has seen round,
square and even hexagonal woofers. Shallow and not shallow at all
woofers, in different colors and with different basket and cone designs.
BUT they all have a basket, a cone, one or more spiders, a voice coil or
double voice coil, 4 Ohms, 2 Ohms, etc, etc. What makes the difference?
Well, the quality of the materials used, the mix of them, the right size
voice coil with the correspondent magnet and yes, many other
combinations. But is it there much more to invent? Not really, maybe a
wireless speaker system. But then our sister brand KUMA (
) would not sell much wires.
MLSS does not manufacture square woofers,
we prefer them round. When we think about a woofer, a round shape pops
first. Could you imagine a round TV ?
MLSS is headquartered in Doral, Florida
USA. Yes there are a lot of palm trees and sun. And once in a while we
get a few “days off” because of a Hurricane or Tropical Storm. |

workers in the factories we use to manufacture our products.
Hopefully when we get to 12 full time employees (official
name for partner-friend- associate), we will have the same amount
of cash Mr. Warren Buffet’s company has.
